This boy named Buyung, originally from Manggarai. Buyung was our guide as well as our chef during sailing from one island to the next island in the Komodo Islands-East Nusa Tenggara Province. This 15-year old dropout boy was very friendly and funny. The Indonesian language he used to communicate with us was very much in line with EYD (improved enhanced Indonesian spelling).. hahaha ... and we were often confused with his perfect Indonesian grammar. Once when I asked to photographed us by using my camera, he pressed the wrong button until one of his photo shots was erased, his language was like "oh sorry sister, I'm so depressed that the picture was erased!" Hahaha instantly we all fell silent and thought to catch the point. Then we immediately understood, oooh he pushed the button! We're used to using the language "kepencet", a very bad spelling Indonesian grammar... haha! One moment, when we got to an island, the lifeboat had landed on the beach, and we all had to get off. Buyung gave an order like this "Sis, your sandals used to be there first (pointing to the sand)" We are confused, ha? sandals first? "Sandals thrown at it?" we asked. Then he replied "oh no" as he demonstrated the jump from the lifeboat to the beach. oh Buyung hahahaha, so that means we were told to jump from the lifeboat! "Hit forehead!" When we had anchored on an island, Buyung told a story, "here we all laugh all the time, although our guests were all western, we keep laughing, even though they did not understand our language, they laughed to see us laughed!" Jee hahahaha ... originally hilarious! And one more thing, Buyung's cuisine was absolutely very delicious! Especially when he cooks Manggarai-style grilled fish! super delicious! Though his age was still 15 years old. Oiya ... look at the sand beach behind Buyung, the color is pink isn't it? This area has a grain of sand that is pink, always be a very beautiful pinky sandy beachy sand!
