Snack on the last day of #projectzeroguac ! .
I NEVER talk about weight because literally I have been the same weight for two years but I stepped on the scale this morning...down two pounds! Know this was just the extra bloat/water weight I was hanging onto but still, shows you how sensitive our bodies are to carbohydrates.

Hi, my name is Stephanie and when I don’t get a lot of sleep, I kind of get delirious. .
So, that’s what happened yesterday, it was actually day three of bad sleep but because it had been 3 days, I didn’t even see it as an issue and kind of brushed past it when wondering what was wrong with me.
.
Anyway, I got amazing sleep last night, did a workout this morning, and I feel great! Though, I will continue to check in with myself because I won’t push it into something it does not want to be doing.

Today was rough and I began to mend the damage toward the end of the day.

You can here all the details on my stories but, the main point was that I my body was telling me (screaming at me) not to go zero carb today. I didn’t listen at first but when I finally did ...my digestion went crazy. Then, because it’s shark week, I devoured that massive @questnutrition cookie (not a good idea and not recommended to anyone trying to overcome sugar). .
So yeah, tomorrow is a new day to listen to my body and not just force myself to do something because I said I would do it.

Remember, sometimes stumbling through stuff is the only way. Take all the twists and turns, ups and downs, and detours as learning experiences.

How I prepped my drumsticks last night. I then baked them for an hour at 450.

Zero carb day one was yesterday and I’m not exactly thrilled with it because I miss veggies BUT my digestion is freaking amazing which is kind of the reason I decided to try zero carb in the first place.
.
I was also concerned that I would wake up in the middle of the night starving because I only got about 1200 calories in for the day which is about 1000 less than normal. I ended up sleeping well but I think today I will try and eat more just so that I don’t get into too much of a calorie deficit.
