It was fast and furious, but fun. These 2 were followed by 6” Deficit Clean Grip Pulls, Bench Press and Bent Over Rows. Not too shabby to kick off the week 👌🏻

New gym, who dis?
Been fighting a nasty head cold this weekend. But managed to muscle up the strength to take the dog for a 30 min walk and then hit the gym for a little bit to do some more cardio and finished it off by sitting in the sauna to hopefully help with my congestion and sinuses. ♨️💧 -It's crazy how much my mindset has changed. The old me would've wanted to just crawl into bed, call out sick from work and just lounge around being a sicko! But this new me says that getting out and about will help my body fight off being sick. & Let's hope so! *

Started off this Monday with a 10 mile run.  Did I feel 100 percent into? Heck no, I didnt!  Did it stop me? No, no it didn't. My body felt reasonably good outside of some chest congestion. I had plenty of time to do it. So there was no reason for me not to do it. I teach balance , I don't teach no days off but at the same time I don't advocate pure laziness. There is a fine line between

Started off this Monday with a 10 mile run. Did I feel 100 percent into? Heck no, I didnt! Did it stop me? No, no it didn't. My body felt reasonably good outside of some chest congestion. There is a fine line between "I'm actually hurting , tired from other things , etc" to " I'm just coming up with excuses because I really don't want to work out " its a key factor to learn to differentiate between the two, as it can determine whether you are successful or not. This applies to not only fitness but everyday life. So , think about it next time and learn when you are feeding yourself lies or being true to yourself. I'm not in anyone's head , so if you come to me for help. You need to be honest about where you stand in how you are feeling. I'm here to motivate you and provide the tools needed to succeed but ultimately, I'm here for you to learn to be your own biggest cheerleader.
