Shoulders and chest, volume workout.  The fact of the matter is,  all my remaining workout will be volume;  what's done is done and all I need is a good pump to keep the muscles stimulated. 
Machine overhead press;  4 progressively heavier sets of 6-16
Machine side laterals;  3 progressively heavier sets of 12
Machine rear delt fly;  3 progressively heavier sets of 10-12
Machine pec fly;  4 progressively heavier sets of 10
Hammer machine parallel grip bench press; 3 progressively heavier sets of 8-10
Converging decline bench press machine ; 3 progressively heavier sets of 10

Squat: 1,003lbs / 455kg
Bench: 529lbs / 240kg
Deadlift: 860lbs / 390kg 
Total: 2,392lbs / 1,085kg
Competition body weight: 310.6lbs / 140.9kg ————————————————————-
I missed my 3rd attempt squat with 480kg/1,058lbs. Everything felt spot on for that lift, but under the fast pace between attempts and conditions on the day I just didn’t have it in me. For training sessions my rest periods were much longer between my warm ups and final top sets. With only 9 lifters on the day and one passing on the last attempt, it only left about 12-13 minutes between stepping off the platform from my 2nd to getting back on the platform for my last with only a 5 minute break between each lift. It would’ve been a meet PR and that was my reason for trying it regardless of how quick the competition was moving. I could’ve went for less weight and stayed a head on squats but that wasn’t my plan. 
For bench I ended up passing on my 3rd attempt because I was feeling very drained from the missed squat and we only had 45 minutes between squat and bench to warm up and get back on the platform again. Instead of going up and either risking a miss or an injury, I played it safe and passed for the 3rd. 
On deadlifts I ended up missing 410kg/903lbs for my 3rd attempt. I had to go for at least that much on my last attempt to get me 3rd place, otherwise there would’ve been no point in taking anything less because I was already safely secured in 4th. I was just wiped out at that point and didn’t have it in me to finish the lift. 
Overall I had the highest attempted squat and deadlift out of all the whole competition. I was also one of the lightest competitors on the day. The next heaviest SHW above me was 344lbs and the heaviest lifter was 364lbs. My final total was stuck with my 2nd attempts only which still won me $5k. Again wasn’t the outcome I was training for but I had a great time competing against some of the best raw lifters in the world and I’m just going to take this as another learning experience to make myself better for the future.

Still trying to let it all sink in but for now I'll be taking up baking lessons (well watching tons of YouTube videos as I managed to save like 100 pages during my prep). .

@Regran_ed from @dylan_braasch -  Did a surprise meet today!! It was deadlift only. Ended with 733lbs for a small meet PR, I missed 804lbs. But today was about more than numbers. It was a tribute to a lost brother of the iron community. Every pound lifted today and was for @jackedandhomeless rest up brother. I pray that I have friends and family as amazing as everyone I met today. @huckfinnbarbell Thanks for having me, it truly was a pleasure.

Day 21/56: Holding steady at a 2lb per week loss and checking in at 168lbs. I haven’t actually measured my waist yet, but I am hoping it’s getting closer to that sub 30” mark (started at 32), which is where is need to be. All I know is my shorts definitely feel much looser, and I am noticing more definition when flexing 💪🏼! Reaching the 1/2 way point of project inferno and absolutely loving the workouts and results!

War es ein echt tolles Wochenende ☺️ ich durfte der Lieben @kristina_kirsch zur Seite stehen bei ihrem aller ersten Wettkampf und hatte fast schon ein deja-vu : sie ist in der Bikini 2 und hatte ein Teilnehmerfeld von ich meine 24 Athletinnen, genau wie ich vor einem Jahr und genauso wie ich damals hat sie den dritten Platz geholt 😁 Maus du kannst mehr als stolz sein 💪🏻 und während Kristina noch backstage etwas dösen konnte bevor sie am späten Nachmittag an der Reihe war habe ich die ehrenvolle Aufgabe bekommen die Instagram Story vom @dbfv_ev zu übernehmen und bekam sogar einen Platz am Kampfrichter Tisch 😍 so nah habe ich quasi noch keinen Wettkampf verfolgt 😁 also ich muss ja sagen der Platz da steht mir oder? 😁 fehlt nur noch die edle Kampfrichter Uniform 😁 @robertodicicco hat netterweise bildlich festgehalten wie ich da voller stolz und Freude saß, neben meinem Coachi und Hauptkampfrichter @spirosmemos ❤️ So genug geredet nun wird weiter Tee und Hustensaft getrunken 😁

You keep going!
Even if I didn’t have another comp in 5 weeks, this is basically how I’d eat.
I don’t “diet”; I eat in an enjoyable and sustainable way: Lean meats, vegetables, and healthy fats.
This week’s meals will be herb-crusted chicken breast with green beans and tilapia with asparagus! I’ve got a lot of work to do and not much time to do it and it all starts in the kitchen!

Treated myself to a SINFIT chocolate chip protein cookie today so I obviously needed to let everyone know my thoughts. Macros are a little high: 20P, 12F, 35C but the cookie is a decent size with that. Taste though was excellent! Very very chocolately, with a decent layer of chocolate around the outside & plenty of chocolate chips as well. Still trying to let it all sink in but for now I'll be taking up baking lessons (well watching tons of YouTube videos as I managed to save like 100 pages during my prep). .

I will however be back on the big stage in May 2019, but for now it's time to GROW!!! .

Huge congrats to this couple @nicklund72 and @cortney_wery competing yesterday in Wisconsin - It was Cortney’s first time on stage and she went thru a huge transformation over the last year.  She worked her ass off and looked incredible!  Nick won the Classic overall and lost a close battle for the bodybuilding overall.  A pleasure working with both of them as they both follow everything to a T and have a very positive and hard working mindset.  It’s clear that they motivate and push each other to be their best and it’s refreshing to see a couples relationship grow thru competing together.  Congrats guys!! This past month i started a shred plan/program that I created on my own. I’ve dropped about 9 pounds just by dieting correctly, training everyday and sticking to it. No off days with this lifestyle💯
