2 days ago the subject was "clock" for inktober. Is it weird to be late for that one? 🤔😛 anyway, even though this year I dont have time to draw everyday, its still so fun to scroll through my feed and see all the inspiring stuff around! . . . . . #inktober2018 #clock #inktober #inkfeature #earlyspring #hibernation #bear #drum #forest #illustration #mixedmedia #penandink #lineart #typography #illustrationartists #winter #womenwithpencils #illustrateddoris #womenwhodraw #socfeature #posterdesign #bearillustration #ballpointmag #tempuradesign

I've posted this image before, but I think it deserves to be posted again - yep, it's Iris histriodes 'Katharine Hodgkin'. Plant the bulbs now if you want this kind of wonderful early next year.

☝) #hackeschermarkt #berlin #germany #europe #earlyspring #tbphoto #bubbles #sunshine #shadows #kids #laughter #urbanphoto #wanderlust #wandering #nikon #nikond3300 #lightroomcc #clearskies #performer #streetphotography #people #loveberlin❤️

Driving through possibly the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen in person! This was around Chowchilla/Fairmead, CA as thunderstorms slowly drifted over the area! I even had to put my hazards on to be visible by others. Pretty crazy weather indeed!
My chase in summary: I left San Jose just after 10:30 a.m. & arrived to the valley before noon. I even met up with a fellow chaser, Sebastian, in Lathrop! Then we went our separate ways & I continued my chase southeast towards Merced. While along highway 99, a line of t-storms had formed in the Merced areas & I later experienced very heavy rain, thunder & lightning. As the afternoon progressed, another line of storms formed further southeast, around Chowchilla/Fairmead, CA with more flooding rains. I went home shortly afterwards and got home by sunset. I was thinking I should’ve stayed in the valley a bit longer since t-storms continued firing just north of Fresno… oh well. Nonetheless, it was a good chase day! ‘Til next time… (Chase outing taken place Thursday, March 22, 2018)
*Weather scenario:
California was experiencing quite active weather so far this rainy season. Even a funnel cloud was observed in the Central Valley just the previous day! This day, the active weather had continued. What made this day’s setup so favorable for t-storms was that all of this was developing ahead of a storm system’s cold front (the same system involved with our recent ‘atmospheric river’), which was well offshore. This setup was one of the best t-storm setups due to widespread patches of clearing (unlike the previous day Wednesday). What we also had was an exiting moisture plume, aka, the atmospheric river itself that had been blasting the state for the past couple days. In the southern Sacramento to central San Joaquin Valley, severe t-storms that did form along & ahead of the cold front were capable of large hail & potentially a few funnel clouds/tornadoes. The storms slowly subsided during the evening…

Stuck in a downpour/heavy thunderstorm this day! This was around Fairmead, CA as thunderstorms slowly drifted over the area. The area was completely drenched and even a flash flood warning had gone into effect at the time as well!

Flooding rains observed around Merced, CA as numerous thunderstorms slowly drift over the region this day. Even the roads were quickly puddling up as I drove thru the area. Gotta love this type of weather!

Experiencing scattered thunderstorms in and around Merced, CA this day. Some of the cells brought deluges in spots, making roads hazardous due to ponding and puddling… Gotta love this weather!

Throwback Thursday to FIVE years ago. This is the first time I went fishing with Tim. I believe it was even one of our first dates! 😂❤️ I caught this pike and he caught a pretty good size bass. Funny thing is that it is a small pond back behind one of his parents fields. This is one of many places where my soulmate learned how to fish. So not only did I out fish him on his pond but he didn’t even know that there were pike put in this pond. 😂🎣 #tbt #throwbackthursday #fishing #ladyangler #womanfishing #fisherwoman #pikefishing #pike #pondfishing #fishingwithmylove #firstdate #firstdatefishing #tugisthedrug #bendtherod #earlyspring #earlyspringfishing #girlsfishing #girlsfishbetter

I've been flaring up a bit with health issues, so while I wear PJ pants I'm going to sit and mull over how great some of my latest wardrobe pieces are - especially these red boots. All these latest style pics were taken during the one day, fashion montage style. I was going to release them bit by bit, as if I was going out dressed in amazing outfits every day, being some sort of ingenue, socialite, fashionista. I wish 😥 But I can't lie to you, Instagram.
The boots sat unloved at the back of my closet because I thought they were too loud and difficult to style. I also thought they made my ankles look fat, which I realise now is ridiculous 😂 It was only a matter of waiting until my confidence levels waxed to a point of meeting them, so I was loud and difficult too, not a shy placid girl awkwardly standing there in aggressively amazing shoes. #confidence #waxing #springthoughts
