Gravity works against us when it comes to good #posture. Think about all the hours spent at a desk, driving, on the couch, cooking, and cleaning. I'd say at least 80% of our day we are not worried about our posture.

Those slumped shoulders that we are so familiar with are the physical symptoms of guarding your #heart.

This pose was way too hard for me to wrap my head around... I was checking my laptop every 30 seconds (see table) to try to get my form right. My attempt to snap a quick shot of this pose turned into a 20 minute hamstring stretch-a-thon. And that was after the flow I did to prep my hips and hamstrings for this pose. It was a night full of yoga. I will sleep well. ☺️

I decided to use my #dharmayogawheel to maximize the stretch in my shoulders, chest and thoracic spine. It feels pretty delicious. This pose was way too hard for me to wrap my head around... I was checking my laptop every 30 seconds (see table) to try to get my form right. My attempt to snap a quick shot of this pose turned into a 20 minute hamstring stretch-a-thon. And that was after the flow I did to prep my hips and hamstrings for this pose. It was a night full of yoga. I will sleep well. ☺️
