Because of this myth, people will program hop all over place after only going through each program for only a week or so. That isn't nearly enough time to make progress. How can you really track your progress if your movements are different each week?

I'd recommend finding a sustainable program, and following it for at least 8-12 weeks before changing programs. That'll give you enough time to see some solid progress.

Trap Bar Deadlift. The easiest deadlift version to learn and perform correctly. Great for building the posterior chain (non-mirror muscles). A strong posterior chain usually results in lower rates of injury, back pain etc.

(2) TRAINING FOR STRENGTH AND HYPERTROPHY (3) STAYING HYDRATED DURING YOUR WORKOUT

Training for strength and hypertrophy instead of just one of those will maximize your results. (2) TRAINING FOR STRENGTH AND HYPERTROPHY (3) STAYING HYDRATED DURING YOUR WORKOUT
(4) USING GOOD FORM

While there are many more, these are 4 very important things to remember for your training. Training lagging body parts first is smart because you’ll have the most energy when training them. Training for strength and hypertrophy instead of just one of those will maximize your results. Drinking water and staying hydrated during your workouts will help keep you going and help give you a solid pump! Using good form will hit the muscle more, causing more muscle gain in the future.

In fact, I got two messages today from people asking me about what to eat when on a cut. So let's take a look.

Losing weight or gaining weight is basically easy in theory. If you eat below your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) you’ll lose weight. If you eat above your TDEE, you’ll gain weight, simple math right?👀
.
It’s difficult in practice for some people. The biggest problem is that most just don’t know what exactly to eat. If you're struggling to gain weight but eat a bunch of veggies a day, you will have a hart time.
.
Viceversa, if you put olive oil in every salad when you want to lose weight, then of course you will have a disadvantage for the remaining calories.
.
So it all comes down to choosing the right foods. I’ve listed some fats, carbs and protein which are ideal when wanting to lose weight or gain weight.
.
If your goal is to lose weight, the ideal foods you should focus on are foods that make you feel full longer and are low in calories. Sweet potato, green veggies and egg whites are some great food examples. Avocado is not low in calorie but very satiating because of its fiber intake. Because fats are essential, Avocado is a great deal when dieting!🥑
.
On the other hand, if your goal is to gain weight, your focus should be to choose foods that are less filling and high in calories such as olive oil, cereals and salmon.🍕

Regardless if you want to lose weight or gain weight, you should STILL cover your fruits, veggies and fibers on a daily basis for your health. Once covered, you can decide what to eat based on the foods list on the infographic above.
