Words of motivation from Tim this morning... "run like chuck is trying to go after your butt" 😂 and "if you're not first, you're last" 🙄 OKAY. Even if I'm not first, I'm still lapping everyone on the couch. And if tomorrow is anything like my last time, I'm going to be even more sore tomorrow 😩 . . I'd rather be sore than sorry. The only workout you'll ever regret is the one you didn't do. 💪🏻

🚫I have a BIG problem with smoking ▶️ hear me out 🚫 *disclaimer - this isn't to offend anyone it's voicing my concern for my health since I work DAMN hard on it🙏🏻 .

When I graduated to Atlanta I figured the days of smoky college rooms were behind me. Then I walked into the airport & was quickly proved wrong - every terminal has a designated smoking room for people to go - I was SHOCKED. .

Growing up wth asthma was the most difficult thing ever. I never could push 110% like everyone else. I felt like the weakling. The person who always had to be pulled out of games. The girl who had to stop mid sprint in soccer every damn game to not pass out.

On a lot of mornings I like to take my workout to our rooftop. I pay a good amount of money for my location - which is supposed to be smoke free. Every morning I go up someone is not only smoking but very close to me without thinking twice.

Sure it's a free world. Yes you can make your own decisions but I'm also a rule follower. Of course I reminded them of the rule & they quickly scurry off but it's disappointing. I don't like to complain, I simply want to make the world a better place 🌍 .

Think about all of the choices you make daily. Will this move me closer or further away from my goals? How will this affect those around me? What will be the outcome of this choice? .

Today I chose to be kind instead of angry. I chose to speak my voice confidently instead of being passive. I chose to stand up for what'a right + own my workout.
